
As the owner and visionary behind Springboard
Northwest, Jean brings to her coaching 30 years of experience
as a professional communicator. She is equally a performance
artist and a businessperson who has the unique ability to foster
self-confidence and empower others to step into their creative
potential.
Jean holds a bachelor of arts degree in children's
theatre from the University of Washington and a master's in speech
communication from Western Washington University.
She has worked in sales, marketing, and customer
service for more than 30 years, successfully managing the customer
base of two local businesses. She regularly teaches public speaking
classes and leads communication skills workshops for businesses
and institutions throughout the Willamette Valley in Oregon.
She received Lee Enterprises' prestigious President's Award for
retail advertising.
Jean brings a lively spirit and sense of wonder
to her teaching. For eleven years, she served as a part-time
faculty member and guest director with the drama department at
Linn-Benton Community College in Albany, Oregon, where she was
given the Outstanding Part-time Faculty Award.
